Magnetic fields are vital for planets and stars and extra-terrestrial things to have good structure and also block harmful things. But what are they? I will explain what they are, how they are formed, how they are important for all of humans and life, and how dreadful things would be without them. Please drop a comment if you liked it or not.

All planets, stars, black holes, neutron stars and other things have magnetic fields of their own. Earth’s magnetic field is strong, but not very strong compared to our sun’s magnetic field. The earth’s magnetic field has a north pole and a south pole, which are almost at the geographic north and the geographic south poles.
This magnetic field is generated by the core of the earth and the natural spinning of the earth. The more the gravitational force the object has, all the stronger the magnetic fields are. Neutron stars have extremely strong natural magnetic fields. In fact, special neutron stars with stronger magnetic fields than normal neutron stars are known as magnetars. Black holes have the biggest and strongest magnetic fields of all.
These magnetic fields block solar flares, UV rays, all solar bursts of light and heat and cosmic rays flying aimlessly. If magnetic fields were not there, we would probably be dead. Also, without magnetic fields, compasses and GPS would not work, so we would have no sense of direction without magnetic fields. Also, magnetic fields pose no threats to humans and animal life, nor to plants, so they do not do any damage.
